Fender has the Deluxe Reverb Tone Master, but what is the difference between it and the regular Deluxe Reverb?
The biggest difference is the driving mechanism. The original "Deluxe Reverb" is a vacuum tube amplifier, featuring a warm sound and substantial weight achieved through genuine tubes and speaker driving. On the other hand, the "Tone Master Deluxe Reverb" is a digital amplifier (modeling amplifier) developed by Fender. While faithfully reproducing the look and sound of the original, it adds features that are convenient for modern guitarists, such as lighter weight, an attenuator function (volume control for home practice), a line output (XLR direct out), and a headphone jack.
