What kind of speaker is best to connect with the Quad Cortex amplifier simulator? Please let me know. Also, how accurately does it reproduce the sound?
Well, with a decent pair of studio monitors, the sound will come out with the nuances of a properly configured amp. My recommendations would be the affordable Adam audio D3V (isn't it cheap?), or for a higher-end option, the Genelec G Three or 8030c. Well, monitors around the size of the G Three deliver solid bass, and since Genelec itself is neutral and pure, considering them a lifetime investment makes them a better deal than buying an amps, personally speaking. Amps are expensive, aren't they? On the other hand, the combination with the Quad Cortex feels inexpensive to me, personally, considering it can do so many things.
